BioThis journal is a record of all the movies I’ve recently seen. You won’t find pretentious things like star ratings, “best of” or “worst of” declarations, or even reviews of the latest films. I seldom see first run movies though I go to the theatre a lot for revivals.
My only rule is that I must write about a movie if I've seen at least half of it. This includes really bad movies that people think someone like me wouldn't watch.

A Short History of the Movies by Gerald R. Mast
The Internet Movie Database
The American Widescreen Museum (excellent for technical information on color processes, film size, ect.)
